Gottlieb's Cross Town

Gottlieb

A Clean Subway?

Cross Town is a classic 1960’s pinball machine. It features four pop bumpers, two dead bumpers, targets, and a stand-up target in the center of the playfield. The center target awards big points if both the red and yellow columns are both at the same level.

As with most of the Gottlieb games from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s it features crisp, family-friendly artwork. The artist for this game is Art Stenholm. The lower playfield has scenes of people reading on the subway and sitting in the subway cars. The center of the playfield shows people riding the escalator to the subway with skyscrapers above.

Cross Town is a replay game with an animated backbox – the subway car doors open and close. (Subway is the add-a-ball version.) The game can be set to start with three or five balls. It is the last Gottlieb production game to have a manual ball-lift.

Cross Town is a one-player game suitable for all ages. The game has been configured for free play. Please call or e-mail with any questions.
